Here is the PhET 'Build an Atom' activity they used
- Year 9 students had never built a web page before this activity. The topic was Chemistry and they first completed a Google Doc by answering questions from a PhET activity to get background knowledge on atoms.

- Here is the supporting research essay.
- After the activity was completed I sent the students a survey make in 'Google Forms' and the results are shown below. The survey included students rating themselves and others as part of 'formative assessment' as well as rating the use of GAFE itself.
